Melania Trump concerned about cyber bullying

BY CHICAGO TRIBUNE

Melania Trump said that, as First Lady, she could be interested in leading an effort to combat bullying and negativity on social media. Mrs. Trump - whose husband frequently uses social media to attack opponents - said in an interview Monday on CNN that she is worried about "cyber bullying" impact on young children. She said she is concerned for children, like her 10-year-old son Barron would be exposed to tough talk on Twitter and other social media platforms. Just earlier Monday, Donald Trump took to Twitter to unleash attacks on both sides of the aisle, targeting both Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and House Speaker Paul Ryan and claiming the "dishonest" media was conspiring against him.

PAUL RYAN’S TOP ADVISOR LEAKED THE TRUMP TAPE

BY INFOWARS

Was the infamous Trump tape in which the Republican candidate made lewd remarks about women leaked by Dan Senor, Paul Ryan’s top advisor? That’s the story swirling around the Internet after Senor’s wife, former NBC reporter Campbell Brown, appeared to confirm the claim. Brown quoted a tweet that said, “Rumblings that Campbell Brown and Dan Senor are behind the Trump tape leak,” and then responded, “Yep. Still having fun after all these years. Key to a happy marriage.” Dan Senor himself later reportedly denied the claims, telling CBS News the story was “ludicrous”. However, Senor has been aggressive in pushing the tape, trying to keep the story at the top of the headlines after Trump’s impressive performance in Sunday night’s debate. Ryan was set to campaign alongside Trump for the first time on Saturday before the leak of the tape changed everything.

San Antonio Texas

BY TEXAS TRIBUNE

Donald Trump, speaking at a Tuesday fundraiser in San Antonio. The Republican presidential nominee called out members of his own party for not being fully supportive of him, including U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, whom he accused of "total disloyalty to the party." Trump repeated the line, suggesting he feels more untethered from the Republican establishment than ever following Ryan's announcement Monday. "It feels so good," Trump told donors. Trump spoke for roughly 15 minutes at the fundraiser, which was held at the Grand Hyatt hotel in downtown San Antonio. Notable attendees included Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, who chairs Trump's efforts in Texas, and Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump released a midnight video statement early Saturday apologizing for lewd comments about women that he made on a 2005 audio tape as two Republican senators called on him to drop out of the presidential race. In the video, Trump said the remarks "don't reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize." "I’ve said some foolish things, but there’s a big difference between the words and actions of other people," Trump said. "Bill Clinton has actually abused women ... We will discuss this more in the coming days." The video closed with Trump reminding viewers to tune in to his second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton in St. Louis Sunday night.

There are few things more American as eating a good ol’ fashion hotdog. And for politicians on the campaign trail, it’s both a necessary and embarrassing photo-op. Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence has noshed on a hot dog with chili sauce before a campaign stop in northeast Ohio. Pence, his wife Karen and daughter Charlotte made a quick stop at Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe in Girard, Ohio, on Wednesday before an evening rally in nearby Leetonia. Pence ordered a hot dog with chili sauce and scarfed it down in just a few quick bites in one of the restaurant’s booths. Pence then chatted and posed for pictures with diners and restaurant staff.

Donald Trump made a fundraising stop in Miami on Tuesday. And despite his affinity for giant fast food chains, Trump stopped by a local institution before heading out of town. The Republican Nominee visited Versailles Restaurant in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. Trump is seen at the Versailles bakery counter, placing an order with some help from his entourage. He isn’t the only famous political face in the house; former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is on hand as well. A bakery employee at Versailles tells "Eater.com" Trump ordered a Cuban coffee, ham croquettes, and guava pastries. Miami News 7 reports he left a generous tip of $83. The Versailles menu reveals Cuban coffee ($2.25), an order of croquettes ($5.95), and pastries ($1.10) comes out to $9.30. An $83 tip on a $9.30 tab is 892 percent. Not bad. It’s even better than the 666 percent tip ($20 on a $3 milkshake) Vice President Joe Biden recently left at a South Carolina diner.

Donald Trump campaigned in High Point Tuesday but the candidate didn't leave the Triad without stopping by one of the area's most popular barbecue restaurants, Stamey's Barbecue on West Gate City Boulevard. Chip Stamey, the restaurant's owner, says he got a little bit of advance notice from the campaign, but didn't know for sure if Trump was coming until he walked in the door. Staff were shocked when Trump arrived and some people eating lunch say it made their day to meet him. "He came by and we both looked at him and see how much he looked like he does on TV and he shook our hands and we told him, 'Yay, keep it up!'" said Judy Collins, a Trump supporter from Eden.

Donald Trump Releases Medical Records For The First Time On The Dr. Oz Show Detailing The Results Of His Most Recent Physical Examination

BY NY POST

Donald Trump “is in excellent physical health,” according to a letter from his doctor released Thursday by the Trump campaign. The GOP nominee is 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 236 pounds, with a total cholesterol level of 169. Test results show that his thyroid and liver functions are good, and that his blood pressure is 116/70, blood sugar is 99 and his testosterone is 441. The numbers came from an examination that took place last Friday by Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, who has been Trump’s personal physician for over 30 years. Team Trump released the records as questions arose about the health of Hillary Clinton, who was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday and took a few days off the campaign trail after nearly collapsing Sunday at the 9/11 commemoration.
